Tripura State Scholarship Scheme and Its Eligibility Criteria

In general scholarship is the one which is provided to the student who is below the poverty line or the student who excels in his or her studies will be provided with scholarships. It will be useful for the students for their higher studies and can benefit from this process. Now the government of Tripura is one of the government welfare is having the aim to provide the student with best offers and scholarships. It has been started by the department of ST Welfare and through the department of NEC. 

This system has ordered the treasury, departments, and databases of banks, higher secondary school certificate, and colleges to distribute the scholarship to the eligible one. The scholarship will be transferred to the eligible candidate through the money transaction process by which the official money will be deposited in the account of the students.

Eligibility criteria involved in Tripura state scholarship scheme:

This will be followed based on the rules and regulation provided by the NEC scheme with the specific conditions.

1. The book grants and the payments are available only to the candidate who belongs to the Tripura state and should have the permanent residence in the northeast wherever in the states.
2. To get the scholarship from the Tripura state, the certificate is mandatory for that process. The certificate can be provided by the deputy commissioner of the Tripura district who must have the permanent address and residence.
3. Rather than deputy commissioner, no other authority has permission to provide certificate and also that kind of certificate is not accepted. But when it comes to SC/ST candidate, the certificate from other authority will be accepted as PRC.
4. To get the scholarship, the candidate must be qualified in the best-recognized institution. After completing the studies, the student will be provided with the original certificates and at the time of getting application student must provide that certificate.
5. Expect the national or state merit scholarship; the students should not financially involve in any other sources. Also, the candidates who are fully employed will not have the eligibility to get the scholarship.  
6. The maximum marks for the students who are provided with the scholarship should score with 60 percent in the category of general/OBC/MBC and 60 percent for SC/ST candidates in the examination of UG or PG or Diploma.
7. The selection will be made for the scholarship is based on the merit scored by the student in the class.
