APSMFC Scholarships
Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation LTD. is undertaken by the government of Andhra Pradesh. It provides loans, women development, training and employment, Scholarships etc. to the minority communities in the society.
Similarly, it provides three kinds of scholarships:
1. Merit cum Means Based Scholarship:
Merit cum Means Based Scholarships is awarded to the minority community students who are pursuing professional or technical UG / PG courses in an Institution recognized by the government.
The scholarships are given on the basis of the performance of the student in the previous year. If the student fulfills the norms, targets, and conditions of Government of India. For the students of Andhra Pradesh, the target is set to be 867.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. The annual income of student’s parent/guardian should not exceed two and a half lakh (2.50 lakh) rupees.
2. The scholarship will be given only to those students who got admission in the technical/professional courses through competitive examination.
3. The students who are taking admission without facing any competitive examination can also get this scholarship, provided they should have more than 50% marks in their intermediate.
4. There are 30% of reserved scholarships for girls. But in case there are no sufficient girls to take those scholarships, they will be given to the eligible boy students.
5. The students who are studying in other states are also eligible provided, they are the permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
6. Full course fee and first priority are given to the students who are studying in the top listed government institution of India.
7. The students in other institution are eligible for either course fee of twenty thousand or the actual fees per annum (whichever is amount is less that much amount will be provided to the student).
8. The students can not avail any other government scholarship or stipend if they are the holder of this scholarship.
Note: students who got GOI scholarship in the previous year shall have to apply for renewal of their scholarship.
There are different rates for a hosteller student and a day scholar.
For Hosteller: the maintenance allowance (for 10 months) is ten thousand rupees (Rs. 10000) and the course fee is twenty thousand or actual fee.
For Day Scholar: the maintenance allowance (for 10 months) is five thousand and the course fee is twenty thousand or actual fee.
How to Apply:
- The student and apply for the scholarship through online on www.apsmfc.com.
- The student can also send the hard copy of the application with all the required documents to the dedicated cell, govt. of India Scholarships, A.P.Haj House, 6th floor, Hyderabad.

2. The student should score more than 50% marks in previous year’s final examination.
3. 30% scholarships are reserved for girl students but in case there are no sufficient eligible girl students then it will be given to the eligible boy student.

There are different rates of scholarship for Hosteller and Day scholar.
- For Hosteller: admission fee for Class 6th to 10th is 500 rupees p.a., tuition fees are 350 rupees p.a., maintenance allowance (for 10 months) is 600 rupees p.a.
- For Day Scholar: admission fee for Class 6th to 10th is 500 rupees p.a., tuition fees are 350 rupees p.a., maintenance allowance (for 10 months) for class 1st to 5th is 100 rupees and for class 6th to 10th is 100 rupees p.a.
This scholarship is given to the students whose parent or guardian’s annual income is less than two lakh rupees.

The pre-matric scholarship is provided to the students who are studying in class 1 to 10th class in a government school or any recognized private school.Eligibility criteria:
1. The student’s parent/guardian’s annual income should not exceed one lakh rupees.2. The student should score more than 50% marks in previous year’s final examination.
3. 30% scholarships are reserved for girl students but in case there are no sufficient eligible girl students then it will be given to the eligible boy student.

Selection Process:
The scholarships will be given on the basis of student’s eligibility and only if the students meet all the targets set by the government of India. The priority will be given to the students from BPL families having lowest income. The scholarship will be provided only to two members of a family.How to Apply:

This scholarship is given to those students who are studying in class 11th to Ph.D. from a govt. or a recognized private colleges and also to those students who are perusing courses which are not included in merit cum means based scholarship.This scholarship is given to the students whose parent or guardian’s annual income is less than two lakh rupees.
aThe rratescholarship for Hosteller:
- - Admission fees and tuition fees for 11th and 12th class is the maximum of 7000 rupees p.a. and the maintenance allowance (for 10 months) is 380 rupees p.a.
- - Admission fees and tuition fees for students having technical and vocational courses in 11th and 12th class is the maximum of 10000 rupees p.a. and maintenance is 380 rupees p.a.
- - Admission fees and tuition fees for students doing graduation and post-graduation is the maximum of 3000 rupees p.a. and maintenance fee is 570 rupees p.a.
- Rate of scholarship for Day scholar:
- - Admission fees and tuition fees for 11th and 12th class is the maximum of 7000 rupees p.a. and the maintenance allowance (for 10 months) is 230 rupees p.a.
- - Admission fees and tuition fees for students having technical and vocational courses in 11th and 12th class is the maximum of 10000 rupees p.a. and maintenance is 230 rupees p.a.
- - Admission fees and tuition fees for students doing graduation and post-graduation is the maximum of 3000 rupees p.a. and maintenance fee is 300 rupees p.a.
