Student eligibility for Kalyan Jharkhand scholarship 


  • Students who reside within Jharkhand state only (outside states also can apply)
  • students in reserved categories i.e SC(scheduled caste), ST (Scheduled tribes), and OBC (other backward classes),

Income eligibility for JKD (Jharkhand scholarship) 

  1. for SC, and OBC Current Financial Income less than or equal to 1Lakh only,
  2. ST candidate income below or equal to 2 lakhs. (current FY  starts from 2015/April and ens on 2016 March) 
Eligible Courses and colleges

  1. All courses must be registered with university grants commission UGC and State Board for Post Matric Scholarships.
  2. Colleges must be affiliated with any UGC Recognised University.
% Students who joined under management quota not eligible for scholarship.%. but cases can apply.


Scholarship Pre-requirements (Certificates)

Students can upload following documents to Kalyan website.All must be originals. also all uploads below the specified size.

  1. Residence certificate,
  2. Caste, category certificate,
  3. Income Certificate for this year,
  4. Scanned passport SIZE photograph less than 100KB,
  5. Bonafide Certificate from College for verifying you are a student of that college with the eligible course.
  6. Upload previous Year final exam marks copy promoted /passed.
  7. Application form I, and II.
After the registration done student has to upload PART I and PART II application forms duly signed by the student.


scholarship procedure Cycle:


  1. Students application (if any mistakes while application you can log in again and correct them),
  2. Officers verification (if rejected due to certificate didn't attach please contact the welfare office),
  3. Scholarship sanction / Release (sometimes scholarship sanction but yet released due to state government insufficient funds welfare fund).
  4. Sent to treasury {Then the stare Accounts department process your account}
  5. scholarship amount in the bank account (within 1 week after sent to treasury your scholarship amount will credit to your bank account.)

  3. you can login register with your Email and Mobile Number also with Student login Name.
  4. In case of you have forgotten the password, then click on forgot password enter your Email /phone number to retrieve that back.
Pat II Jharkhand Scholarship Online form filling:

  1. Personal details,
  2. college details,
  3. course details,
  4. Contact details,
  5. Bank account details.
verify and submit the application.

Part III Verify  and Print

Preview your Application and check for any mistake made during application.
verify that no mistakes were made.
submit the application and Take print out of PART I and PART II application form

and Sing on each application form.
